Across the Bay
Experiencing the sun is what makes summer worth waiting for. To avoid the stickiness and sweat packaged with it, I've dedicated my next treasury to flowy and free articles. Lightweight, airy fabrics of different combinations of colors can complete any summer outfit. The only thing missing, is a trip to the beach!

Freedom Rings
Since tomorrow is the 4th of July, it's only proper that I dedicate my next treasury to the celebratory holiday. Obviously, I'm really in love with summer right now so my treasury consists of patriotic AND cute outfits, as well as decorative pieces for a festive day. Take the day off, enjoy barbecue, beaches, and fireworks, and never forget how blessed we are to be able to live this day! =]

When I Met You in the Summer...
This is a late post but, after about a month and a half I can say I finally finished my last project for the first year of my fashion class. This strapless floral dress demonstrates many different sewing techniques including boning, lining, and creating invisible seams. I paired it with a pair of simple flesh-toned heels to complete the perfect look for a summer outing.

Color Me Mine
The stressful junior year has finally come to an end! I can finally say it's SUMMMAAAA. One of my favorite things packaged with summer is the vast spectrum of bright, new colors. From rainbow splattered nails (which I think I want to try) to the sweetness of summer-baked cupcakes, it's their colors that really make summer pop. It's time to soak in the sun, and get inspired by the ocean breeze for all the summer projects I have planned!

Heads Up Seven Up
Okay so I have this problem where I keep telling myself that next week I'm going to spend more time on my pictures....but Sunday comes so fast so I always end up with stuff like this. -______-
Alright I've decided I'm still going to post every Sunday but until I'm settled into summer, it's not going to be too great.
I didn't use a recipe for this because it's so simple-frozen watermelons, 7-up and a touch of honey. Just blend em all together. The frozen watermelons serve as ice and basically add the soda until you get just the amount of slush wanted. On a hot summer day...this is like THE BEST. It's not too thick like a smoothie, and it doesn't take much ingredients.
Great editing skills I know...give me a break finals is coming up x)
