1, 2, 3 Strikes You're Out!

I was lucky enough to go to two Dodger games in one week, so I needed a manicure that would last me through both games. I chose none other than a Dodger blue polish. This is Kiss Me at Midnight and it's part of OPI's liquid sand collection. This polish tries with a sandpaper like texture, and along with the Natural Nail base coat I used, the color did not fail me! (And yup, no top coat)

Here I'm just having fun with my camera, getting close details of the texture. =] This color actually has  a perfect winter wonderland feel, or as my 5 year old cousin puts it- it looks like Elsa.

And Here's me at the Dodger game. =] It was Brian Wilson night and I went through so many stores trying to find a beard wig. I couldn't find one anywhere so of course I made my own. =]

That was Easy

This week I decided to quickly compile a couple of my nail care favorites.

*All the links to where the buy the products are not the links to where I bought mine. I just searched for the same product to provide easy access to them.

Love on Top

This was the manicure I had on for my cousin's wedding. =]

I know this is a terrible picture but I forgot to take another one so this will have to do. I used two coats of "Your Royal Shine-ness" and for the top coat I used OPI's colored top coat-"I Can Teal You Like Me." I really love the sheer blue topcoat and it gives such a beautiful l effect that allows you to play with different colors of the ones you already have.

MOTD 3- Pushing Daisies

My tortured nails had a long break and I finally painted on a fresh manicure. As the warm weather crawls in, I'm excited to whip out my spring pastel colors. I've been wanting to paint daisies on my nails for the longest time, and even though I don't have the steady hands nor the patience to draw on my nails, it didn't come out too bad (except the fact that my top coat bubbles up...I need a new one).

I ended up using three coats of Havana Dreams and Kyoto Pearl for the base, one coat of Alpine Snow for the petals of the flowers, and two coats of Need Sunglasses? for the yellow dot in the middle.

MOTD 2: Classic Red

Here's my second manicure of the day. It's two coats of a very classic red with a hint of shimmer.

The color is "reflection" from OPI's designer series. It looks a little orange, but trust me...it's red. Oh and hey, Valentine's Day is coming up for those of you who like more daring colors.

MOTD 1

Here's my first manicure of the day. This is actually what I had on for NYE and i finally took it off. (I used two coats for each color)

Both are from the Nicole series from OPI. The shimmery blue is called "Party in the Penthouse" and the rose gold is "Light a Candle"
