I spent my very first Thanksgiving away from my family this year. Family is very important to me so it was weird being away from them on a big holiday. During this break I experienced a true sense of loneliness, but at the same time I learned to really be thankful. I miss home so much, but having people that I miss just shows how blessed I am.
As soon as Thanksgiving was over, I invited a couple friends over to make these snowman truffles. The entire Thanksgiving break was so lonely for me I wanted to jump into the Christmas spirit as soon as Thanksgiving was over. Usually, around this time I would still be getting excited over Thanksgiving leftovers.
